Claudia Mourad joined Hershorin & Henry, LLP in 2010. Ms. Mourad's experience includes real estate,
business and employment litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Mourad has handled commercial
and residential real estate litigation involving TILA, RESPA, HOEPA, agent/broker duties, landlord/
tenant, unlawful detainer, easements, title, escrow, fraud, and cases representing the FDIC.
Ms. Mourad began her legal career in 2001 as a corporate transactional attorney with an emphasis on
securities transactions.
From 2002-2007, Ms. Mourad was an associate attorney at Hal W. Wolowski and Associates, APC,
in Irvine. She specialized in employment and real estate transactional and litigation matters. Ms.
Mourad prepared motions and oppositions, conducted discovery, legal research, prepared for trials and
arbitrations, and drafted and negotiated contracts.
Between 2007-2010, Ms. Mourad was a litigation associate at Oswald & Yap, LLP, in Irvine. She
handled real estate, business, intellectual property, and employment litigation in state and federal courts.
Ms. Mourad received a LL.M. Degree in Business and Corporate Law from the University of San
Diego School of Law in 2001. Ms. Mourad received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School
of Law in 2000, graduating in the top 15% of her class. While at Whittier, Ms. Mourad was a member
of the Whittier Law Review and received a Dean's Merit Scholarship along with The Frank M. Doyle
Scholarship. Ms. Mourad also received the CALI Excellence Award for Pretrial Litigation Skills, and
the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility. During law school, Ms. Mourad
served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Lawrence W. Crispo (Ret.) of the Los Angeles Superior
Court. Ms. Mourad received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of California,
Irvine in 1997. Ms. Mourad is a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit and U.S. District
Court, Central District of California.
