James T. McKinnon
James T. McKinnon has experience in a variety of areas of law including nuisance property abatement, code enforcement, receiverships, criminal law, administrative hearings, municipal law, civil litigation, interpleader actions, and unlawful detainers. Mr. McKinnon has many years of experience with unlawful detainers and has represented both tenants and landlords. He also was an assistant apartment manager for many years, which provides him with a unique understanding of the challenges that landlords face with difficult tenants and has worked with many clients to help them evict troublesome tenants.
Mr. McKinnon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law. During his time in law school, he was an extern for the Orange County District Attorney's Office twice.
Mr. McKinnon's legal experience has permitted him to work a lot in and out of the courtroom to help ensure that his clients get favorable results and resolve disputes in a timely fashion.
